To attain size reduction and weight reduction of a washing machine by rotating a circular base board along one of a pair of lengthwise side surfaces in a rotary board, arranging a lower end part so as to come close to a bottom surface of the washing machine, and setting a projecting part in a projecting quantity so that the tip comes close to the other of a pair of lengthwise side surfaces.
A projecting parts 22 projecting in a washing tank 11 scrapes up a wash K1 stored on a bottom surface 11a of the washing tank 11 along the bottom surface 11a according to rotation of a rotary board 2, and a raised wash K2 is placed on a plate surface 22a of the projecting part 22, and is carried upward, and falls soon, and collides with the bottom surface 11a, and is washed by beating. Therefore, since the wash K1 is washed on the bottom surface 11a by beating and is stored on the bottom surface 11a, weight of the wash and a great part of a load at beating washing time act on the washing tank 11. Therefore, since a load applied to the rotary board 2 works well with only a load to scrape up the wash K1, size reduction and weight reduction can be attained while giving beating washing capacity comparable to a conventional drum type washing machine.
