Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enhance washing effect by sprinkling water on an airframe before fixed point measurement for the airframe to equalize airframe temp. and by correcting the playback data of a washing unit based on the setting position and deformation data of the airframe obtained from the posture formed by restoring temporary airframe displacement due to sunshine and the like.
CONSTITUTION: The trailing wing of a main wing 2 and the rear end of a fuselage 3 are monitored by means of a television camera installed at a washing device A or a predetermined place in a washing area. When the trailing wing or the rear end of the fuselage has a downward slope, water is sprayed at a main wing 3 to equalize airframe temp. Airframe displacement is returned to the correct posture. The fixed point position of operation is measured by means of an optical type survey instrument, etc., to obtain the setting position of an introduced airframe and a deformation data. A reference playback data is corrected based on the setting position and the deformation data. Each washing unit 4 is operated based on the corrected playback data to wash an aircraft 1.
