Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable sufficient sterilization and disinfection of a food without destructing the cells of the food by washing a food with a solution of sodium hypochlorite, washing with water and finally washing with an acetic acid solution.

CONSTITUTION: A food is washed with a solution of sodium hypochlorite, water and then an acetic acid solution. The washed food is drained and packaged with an oxygen-permeable film. Vegetables such as cut cabbage can be sterilized and disinfected without destructing the cells of the vegetable.
