The washing system 1 includes: a vertically elongated washing tub containing washing water 60, being a washing tub 11 including a main vibrating region 15 in a bottom wall part that vibrates by an ultrasonic vibrator 14; and a washing basket 20 arranged inside the washing tub 11 for storing an elongated object 30 to be washed. The washing basket 20 includes: a lateral support member 29 for supporting a lateral side of the object 30 to be washed, which intermittently includes a periphery of the washing basket 20; and a plate-shaped auxiliary vibrating plate arranged opposite to and separate from the main vibrating region 15, which intermittently includes a bottom of the washing basket 20 and supports one end of the object 30 to be washed, being an auxiliary vibrating plate 21 which impresses an ultrasonic vibration propagated via the washing water 60 to the object 30 to be washed.
