PURPOSE: To provide a structure wherein, being light and low-cost while not affected by the pressure of a press, a vessel in a housing is automatically aligned accurately.

CONSTITUTION: A waste press comprises a compression rod which is free to move on the action of a pressurizing device within a waste vessel 17. The vessel 17 is within a cubic housing 18. The housing 18 comprises a door 20 for delivery of the vessel 17. A door 20 of the housing 18 as well as other side walls 40, 41, and 42 are so formed as to have pressure-resistance, with all side surfaces tightly contacting the side wall of the vessel 17 while the housing 18 is closed. For easy delivery of the vessel 17, at least one 42 of the side walls of the housing 18 adjoining a door opening part is allowed to swing outside as far as a lock part 64 sideways.
