Abstract:
To provide a waste gas treatment method and apparatus for ash melting furnace, which rationally treats melting waste gas by subjecting the melting waste gas in an ash melting furnace to temperature reducing treatment followed by dust removal by a high-temperature dust removing means, and using the resulting gas as secondary combustion air for an incinerator as it is.
The melting waste gas generated in the ash melting furnace 10 is cooled with air and/or water jet, dust-removed by a high-temperature dust collector 17, and supplied as secondary combustion air to a secondary combustion chamber 32 of the incinerator 30. Heavy metals in dusts is surely removed, and a waste gas treatment facility is made compact.
