To provide a waste gas treatment system, which is a type employing a jet scrubber, capable of reliably cleaning a dust-containing gas.

This waste gas treatment system comprises a jet scrubber 32 for separating dust a waste gas by carrying out gas-liquid mixing of a waste gas and a bubble-mixed high pressure washing water flow, a water storage tank 52 for temporarily storing high pressure washing water discharged out of the jet scrubber 32, a water-showering tower 54 for showering water to dust-containing steam generated out of the water storage tank 52 to separate dust from the dust-containing steam, and an adsorptive filtration tower 74 for adsorbing and filtering steam from which dust is separated by the water- showering tower 54 to clean the steam.
