To provide a waste heat recovery device capable of suitably satisfying both of sufficient energy recovery in a Rankine cycle and performance improvement of a driving system.
This waste heat recovery device of the embodiment 1 includes the Rankine cycle 3a used for the driving system 1a. The driving system 1a has an engine 5, and a turbocharger 7 for supplying pressurized air to the engine 5. The Rankine cycle 3a has a pressurized air boiler 23 for heating a working fluid by heat exchange with pressurized air. The Rankine cycle 3a is provided with a bypass passage 33 branching off from pipes 28 and 29 on the downstream side of the pressurized air boiler 23 and merging with a pipe 30 by bypassing an expander 25, and a flow regulating valve 35 controlled by a control device 11a and capable of regulating a flow rate of the working fluid flowing in the expander 25 and a flow rate of the working fluid flowing in the bypass passage 33.
