Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste incinerator which prevents the occurrence of CO spike or adhesion of clinker and is capable of realizing low NOx and high- load combustion by stabilizing the combustion state in a main combustion chamber.
SOLUTION: The waste 2 charged in a hopper 1 is sent to a dry stalker 3 through a shoot, and is ignited, being dried and also heated by dry air from below and the radiant heat within a furnace. The waste 2 being ignited and having started combustion is burnt completely by the combustion air sent from under in a rear combustion chamber 5. A middle ceiling 8 is provided with a burner 14, and exhaust gas is discharged toward the side of the stalker. Hereby, a stagnation area 15 is made along the downside of the middle ceiling 8, and combustion is performed stably within the stagnation area 15. For a burner 14, the one of such type that the main combustion area exists within the burner is used.
