To enable a remarkable reduction of a running cost and an easy maintenance by remarkably suppressing a consumption of a cleaning liquid with a simple constitution, enabling recycling of the liquid in a high efficiency and a short time, and avoiding of an environmental problem.

A waste liquid recycling device for a printer for recycling a waste liquid 9 containing ink pigments 7, water 8 and the cleaning liquid used in the printer comprises a conductive roller 3 partly impregnated with the liquid 9, a conductive electrode 4 provided at an interval on a periphery of the roller 3, a scraping blade 5 for scraping particles of the pigment 7 and the liquid adhered to the roller 3, a high-voltage power source 6 for applying an electric field between the roller 3 and the electrode 4, and a filtering chamber 10 for filtering the pigment 7 scraped by the blade 5 via a filter material 11 in such a manner that the chamber 10 may be used as a filtering and back washing chamber used also as a back washing chamber for back washing the material 11 by the liquid treated by the electric field.
