Abstract:
To provide a waste fluid treatment method for efficiently treating a waste fluid including a liquid layer including a patient's body fluid and a floating matter floating thereon, using a solid state coagulant in a container.SOLUTION: Using a waste fluid treatment method, a waste fluid 70 including a liquid layer 71 including a patient's body fluid and a floating matter 72 floating on the liquid layer 71 is treated in a container 20. The waste fluid treatment method includes: a contact step of making a coagulant unit 40 including a coagulant 41 in a solid state and a water-soluble member 43 housing the coagulant 41 come into contact with the liquid layer 71 in the container 20 and making part or all of the water-soluble member 43 be dissolved in the liquid layer 71 to make the coagulant 41 be contained in the liquid layer 71; and a separation step of stirring the liquid layer 71 containing the coagulant 41 to separate the waste fluid 70 into a supernatant fluid 73 and aggregate 74 in the container 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
