Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce the amount of cost for melting treatment by providing, to a waste melting furnace, a fluidized bed type melting furnace main body, a cyclone provided to an exhaust passage and a dust supply passage returning the solid recovered by the cyclone to a tuyere. CONSTITUTION:Oxygen-containing gas for burning coke is supplied to a coke packed bed 7 from a tuyere 14 and the waste 1 charged to a melting furnace main body 3 is melted by the heat of combustion of coke (c). The fluidized bed 20 of the waste 1 is formed on the upper surface of the coke packed bed 7 and cyclone 5 recovering the solid (d) in exhaust gas is provided to the exhaust passage 4 of the melting furnace main body 3, and the solid (d) recovered by the cyclone 5 is supplied to the tuyere 14 by a dust supply passage 6. As a result, the furnace can be made compact as a whole and it is unnecessary to provide a dryer apart from the furnace, and the amount of coke required in melting treatment can be reduced.
