To provide a waste melting process method capable of inhibiting the consumption of cokes, increasing the amount of dust to be brought to a furnace bottom in comparison with a conventional one, and keeping a temperature of the melt by the dust combustion heat.
A combustion melting furnace 16 is mounted near a furnace bottom part of a shaft furnace type melting furnace, 1, a furnace bottom part of the combustion melting furnace 16 and the furnace bottom part of the shaft melting type melting furnace 1 are communicated with each other, the fine combustible waste or its intermediate processed matter is charged into the combustion melting furnace 16 from a tuyere 17 to be burnt/melted, and its combustion exhaust gas is introduced into a melting zone of the shaft furnace type melting furnace 1 to be utilized as a melting heat source.
