To prevent contamination of surroundings by carbonizing waste, and hence eliminate the need of a high flue, reduce the fuel cost, shorten processing time, reduce the manufacturing cost, miniaturize an apparatus, and simplify refuse processing.

When a vaporization combustion chamber 1 is heated with a heating burner 14, waste is vaporized and combusted to produce gas which is raised and enters a combustion chamber 18 together with waste gas. Thereupon, air from a combustion blower 24 is sucked into a waste gas rising pipe 13a from an air inflow hole 28, and the 28, and the gas from the vaporization combustion chamber 1 passing through an inside gas rising pipe 1a surrounded by the waste gas rising pipe 13a is sucked smoothly into a smokestack part 21 in the combustion chamber 18 without staying by suction force caused by the joining of the air. Both gases are completely combusted in the smokestack part 21 with the aid of fire of the combustion burner 23, and then enters the combustion chamber 18 and passes throug a catalyst 27a from an exhaust outlet 27 whereby it is deodorized and exhausted to the outside.
