To provide a waste supply device capable of suppressing increase of consumption of auxiliary fuel, and surely preventing gas explosion caused by an unburned gas such as reversed CO gas from a heating treatment furnace with small utilities.

This waste supply device 1 includes a pressure gauge GTfor measuring an internal pressure T of a gasification furnace 20 as one embodiment of the heating treatment furnace, a gas supply pipe 33 communicated with a waste transporting device 7 from a steam supplying source FP, and provided with a flow meter 33b and a gas supply valve 33a, and a control device CLfor controlling the gas supply valve 33a to be opened on the basis of the internal pressure T input from the pressure meter GT, and controlling the gas supply valve 33a to be closed when the total supply amount of steam input from the flow meter 33b reaches a first set amount determined on the basis of a volume of the waste transporting device 7.
