PURPOSE: To rationalize disposal of a waste tire by a method wherein the tread piece of the waste tire is developed in a long plateform shape and a supplementary sheet to which a part of the side wall piece of the waste tire is coupled in an overlapped state is stretched over a sheet material coupled in the shape of a lattice.
CONSTITUTION: A waste tire sheet 1 is formed with a sheet material 2 of a tread piece and a supplementary sheet 3 of a side wall piece. In the case of a steel belt radial tire, it is made durable to the tensile strength of the tread piece and sufficiently durable to a use as a foundation-reinforcing mat. Tread pieces 20 formed such that an annular tread piece is formed in a long plateform shape are coupled in the shape of a lattice to bolt holes 21 by means of nuts 51 and nails 52, and stretched in a manner to fill the gaps of the lattice. A disc-shaped side wall piece 30 is cut to pieces, and the cut side wall pieces are inserted through the given number of rods 31 as they are overlapped with each other in a state to be displaced from each other, and the supplementary sheet 3 formed in the shape of a scale is nailed to the sheet material 2. This constitution enables the reasonable use of the waste tire.
