In this waste treatment apparatus for truck container, a waste charge port 2 is provided to the container 1, and an openable and closable lid 3 is provided at the charge port 2; a waste crusher 4 is disposed below the charge port 2 in the container 1; crushed waste sent out of the crusher is sorted into lightweight matter and heavy matter by a pneumatic classifier 6 in the container 1; the heavy matter is passed through magnetic sorters 10, 12, 14 in the container 1 to be sorted into magnetic materials, non-metals and non-magnetic metals. The container is demarcated by a partition 18 to contain the crusher 4 and pneumatic classifier 6 in separated chambers. The chamber containing the crusher 4 is sealably provided.
