To provide a waste treatment apparatus for separating water- containing waste such as garbage or the like occurring in a kitchen or the like into solid waste and sewage and subjecting the solid waste to drying treatment to make the same disposable.
The waste treatment apparatus A is constituted so as to separate water-containing waste into solid waste and sewage to subject the solid waste separated from sewage to disposal treatment. This waste treatment apparatus A is constituted of a waste treatment tank 1 for treating the solid waste, stirring blades 8 rotated along the inner peripheral surface of the waste treatment tank 1, the waste discharge port 2 bored in the tank wall of the waste treatment tank 1 at a predetermined position, an on-off lid 3 moved so as to be able to advance and retreat outside the waste treatment tank 1 to close the waste discharge port 2 in a freely openable manner and a control unit for controlling the driving of the on-off lid 3 and the stirring blades 8. The on-off lid 3 is automatically opened and closed from the outside to automatically discharge the dried waste.
