Abstract:
To provide a waste treatment technique which can realize a low initial cost and running cost and enables effective use of waste.
A drying treatment process which dries waste to the degree of determined water content by heating waste in a treatment tank 12 under vacuum atmosphere, and a carbonization treatment process which supplies superheated steam into the treatment tank 12, decreases the water content of waste further, and thereafter carbonize pyrolyzes waste, are carried out. Further, in the carbonization treatment process, the inner part of the treatment tank is forced to be purged and a volatile material from the waste is carbonized to be recovered by this purging.
