Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a device in which the generation of wear or clogging of equipments caused by a granular solid matter in a waste water to be treated is reduced and periodic cleaning of various treating vessels is eliminated and is easy in maintenance.
CONSTITUTION: The granular solid matter in the waste water to be treated is separated by water flow generated by a vortex generation device 1 in a granular solid matter separation tank 2 and is scraped up to a recovering hole 11 and is allowed to fall into a granular solid matter storage tank 3. As a result, since the granular solid matter is easily separated and stored, the device does not necessitate laborious maintenance.
