Abstract:
To enable wastewater to be efficiently treated in a wastewater treatment system which treats the wastewater generated in washing exhaust gas of a marine engine.SOLUTION: A wastewater treatment system comprises: a storage tank which stores wastewater generated by washing exhaust gas of a marine engine at a pressure higher than atmospheric pressure; a treatment tank which is disposed separately from the storage tank; and a flow passageway which has one end connected to the storage tank and the other end connected to the treatment tank and which causes the wastewater to flow therethrough from the storage tank to the treatment tank. The wastewater which passes through the flow passageway is made to be open to the atmosphere in the treatment tank and to thereby foam, to thereby cause an impurity in the wastewater to float to a surface for separation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
