Abstract:
Device for checking the sealing of a closed container, such as the casing (2) of a watch (1), comprises a sensor (32) for measuring fluctuations in the concentration of an atmospheric gas within the casing. When the concentration falls below the initial value, an alarm is sounded. An independent claim is made for a method for checking the sealing of a closed container.
