PURPOSE: To mount a watch band to a watch casing and to remove it from the watch casing easily and rapidly by fixing the watch casing to a watch band by the elastic clamping force of the watch band within a housing.

CONSTITUTION: For mounting a watch band 2 to a watch casing 1, a free edge part opposite to a buckle 5 of the watch band 2 is wound into a housing 4 and is guided through it until a stopper 9 contacts the opening of the housing 4 and limits a succeeding penetration guide. As soon as a retention range 8 reaches the inside of the housing 4 when the watch band 2 is guided through in this manner, a pad made of an elastic rubber for forming a protruding curved part when viewed in the winding direction of the watch band 2 is compressed elastically, is preloaded elastically within the housing 4 of the watch band 2, and finally is retained at an assembly position.
