PURPOSE: To make it possible to accomplish the correction by providing a first converter, which is operative to drive a hand indicative of time, and a second converter, which is operative to drive a day wheel, so that the date and day are instantly advanced.
CONSTITUTION: A hand indicative of the time is turned by a first converter consisting of a quartz oscillator and a step motor, and a synchronous wheel 19 is turned once for 24 hours by a cylindrical wheel 19. Upon the day advancement, a SW spring 25a is warped by the projection 19a of the wheel 19 into contact with a terminal S3 for a preset time. Output signals are fed to a calendar correcting coil 9 from a drive circuit 8 of a second converter to generate an S pole at the leading end of a calendar correcting core 10 so that a calendar correcting member 13 is turned in the direction of arrow by the N pole of a permanent magnet 11 thereby to advance a date wheel 17 by one day. Immediately after that, the signals reversed from the data advancing signals are fed to a coil 9 to turn the member 13 in the opposite direction thereby to advance the day. By the rotations of a stem 16, a lever 16a is brought into contact with either the contact S1, or S2 to drive the drive circuit 8 thereby to correct the date or day.
