PURPOSE: To make circuit integration easy and make addition operating circuits simple by circulating and storing plural sets of time digit information in the closed circulating loop constituted by shift registers and letting addition be performed at every circulation thereof.
CONSTITUTION: Time digit information (digits of the hour, minute, second) of decimal 6 digits are subsequently serially circulated and stored in the shift register 17 and 19 of the closed loop circuit constituted by a 20-bit shift register 17, adder 18, 4-bit shift register 19, decimal-hexad corrector 20, and 1 is added by the adder 18 to the minimum time digit information out of the time digit informations having been stored. The results of each addition operation are decoded in a decorder 23 and are displayed as the time in a display device 24
