Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a water-absorbing body being physically and chemically stable, in which migration or falling in a cellulosic fiber of a water absorptive resin grain hardly occurs, therefore having excellent absorptivity.

CONSTITUTION: The water absorptive body contains absorptive resin grains having an acid group such as carboxylic group at the surface, cellulosic fiber and a cationic high molecular compound of ≥200wt. average molecular wt., and the water-absorptive resin grains are stuck to a cellulose powder by a cationic high molecular compound in the presence of water.
