PURPOSE: To reduce a time required for conditioning hairs after shampooed without any damage thereto by providing a water absorbing material of a nonwoven fabric on the surface of a brush teeth carrier, dividing the material into two portions, and isolating the divided portions from each other.

CONSTITUTION: A plurality of brush teeth support grooves 2 and 2 are formed on the surfaces of brush teeth carriers 1 and 1 along respective lengthwise directions thereof. In addition, brush teeth erected on a surface A constituted with one carrier 1 are roughly arranged, while brush teeth erected on a surface constituted with the other carrier 1 are densely arranged. Each one sheet of a nonwoven fabric water absorbing material 5 is so laid on the surfaces A and B as to cover the surfaces of the carriers 1 and 1. A retaining isolation lever 7 is provided and the nonwoven fabric water absorbing materials 5 and 5 on the surfaces A and B are isolated from each other. Shampooed hairs containing a relatively large amount of moisture immediately after dried with a towel has high resistance and in this case, the hairs are brushed using the surface A having roughly arranged brush teeth. Hairs having less resistance due to a small amount of moisture are brushed with the surface B having densely arranged brush teeth, thereby absorbing remaining moisture quickly and smoothly, and obtaining efficient water absorption and hair drying.
