Abstract:
To provide a water absorption treatment material that is excellent in water absorption speed, and to provide a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: A water absorption treatment material 1 comprises multiple granular materials 10 with water absorption property. Each granular material 10 includes a core part 12 and a coating part 14. The core part 12 has a columnar shape including a lateral face 12a, a bottom face 12b and a bottom face 12c. The coating part 14 includes an adhesive material and coats the lateral face 12a of the core part 12. The coating part 14 has a thickness that gradually decreases toward an end part from a center part of the core part 12 in a center axis direction of the core part 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
