To provide water-absorptive polymer particles superior in the absorbency, liquid-permeability, etc.; an absorbent article including the same as a component member; and a method for improving the speed of liquid permeation under pressure of the water-absorptive polymer particles.

This invention provides: (1) the water-absorptive polymer particles containing (A) cross-linking polymer particles with anionic groups, and (B) a primary amine composition with hydrocarbon groups of 6-30C; (2) the absorbent article having the water-absorptive polymer particles as component members; and (3) the method for improving the speed of liquid permeation under pressure of the water-absorptive polymer particles by contacting (B) the primary amine composition with hydrocarbon groups of 6-30C to (A) the cross-linking polymer particles having the anionic groups as the water-absorptive polymer particles.
