Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide water-absorptive resin particles which can achieve both liquid permeability between gels swelled under no load, and an absorption amount under loading and liquid permeability between gels swelled under loading.SOLUTION: There are provided water-absorptive resin particles which contain a crosslinked polymer (A1) containing a water-soluble vinyl monomer (a1) and/or a vinyl monomer (a2) formed into a water-soluble vinyl monomer (a1) by hydrolysis and a crosslinking agent (b) as essential components, and a hydrophobic compound (C), where the water-absorptive resin particles are surface-treated with the hydrophobic compound (C) and surface-neutralized with a basic compound (D), a centrifuge retention capacity of physiological saline is 27-40 g/g, and gel bed permeability at 0 psi swell pressure is 40 darcies or more and gel bed permeability at 0.3 psi swell pressure is 1 darcies or more; an absorber containing the water-absorptive resin particles and a fibrous material; and an absorptive article having the absorber.SELECTED DRAWING: None
