Abstract:
To obtain a water-base compsn. which is used for forming on the external surface of a tire a protective coating layer which protects the tire from migration and ozone cracks and which is not required to be removed when the tire is allocated.
The water-base comspn. at least contains a homo- or copolymer (a) which is based on at least one monomer selected from among an acrylic ester, a methacrylic ester. and a vinyl ester and has a glass transition point of 0°C or lower and a water-base emulsion (b) contg. a hydrophilic silica and a homo- or copolymer which is based on at least one monomer selected from among acrylic acid, methacrylic acid, and a vinyl monomer and has a glass transition point of 25°C or higher.
