CONSTITUTION: A water-base dispersion of an adhesive for a bonded padding having a viscosity at 25°C of 500-50,000cP is obtd. by compounding 15-50 pts.wt. at least one kind of thermally bondable synthetic resin powder selected from the group consisting of a polyamine, a polyester, polyethylene, and an ethylene- vinyl acetate copolymer, 0.5-10 pts.wt. tackifier, 1-30 pts.wt. emulsifying and dispersing agent, 0.0001-30 pts.wt. water-sol. temp. -sensitive gelling agent which is a vinylic copolymer contg., as structural units, 50wt.% or higher (meth)acrylic ester of a 1-20mol ethylene oxide and/or propylene oxide adduct to (a substd.) morpholine (i.e., a vinylic carboxylic ester of an alkylene oxide adduct to an active hydrogen compd. having a nitrogen-contg. ring). and 20-90 pts.wt. water.
