Abstract:
To provide a water-base ink for inkjet recording which is, at its initial stage, easily introducible into a recording head and can simultaneously decrease the feathering and color bleeding when used for recording on plain paper.
This water-base ink contains a surfactant represented by formula (1) (wherein R is an alkyl; and x+y is an integer of 5-15) or by formula (2) (wherein z is an integer of 9 of less), dipropylene glycol, a colorant, and water.
