Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject ink having a good thixotropic property, giving a brilliant and strong metal gloss, and having good writing touch, good stability to temperature, and excellent preservability, by including aluminum powder, xanthane gum and a hectorite inorganic thickener.
SOLUTION: This ink contains (A) aluminum powder (for example, an aluminum paste) preferably having an average particle diameter of 5-30 μm and (B) a thickening gelation agent comprising (i) xanthane gum and (ii) a hectorite inorganic thickener (one kind of montmorillonite stone ore) {for example, synthetic hectorite having a chemical composition of the formula [Si8(Mg5.34Lig0.66) O20(OH)4]M+0.66}. The component A, the component Bi and the component Bii are preferably contained in amounts of 1-20 wt.%, 0.1-1 wt.% and 0.1-1 wt.%, respectively.
