Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a water-base overprint varnish composition excellent in the capability of protecting a printed surface and having a proper degree of releasability and a container made of paper printed or coated with the composition and bonded in a readily releasable manner.
CONSTITUTION: This composition contains 10-40wt.% (in terms of solids) carnauba wax. An adhesive is laminated on the layer of this composition to effect bonding in a readily releasable manner.
