Abstract:
To provide a novel interior finish material which has an extremely good embossed pattern formed on its surface and exhibits excellent decorativeness, and has a high-class texture, and a water-based coating material for the interior finish material.
The water-based coating material for an interior finish material has inorganic fibers (excluding titanium dioxide fibers of the monoclinic crystal system) having a fiber diameter of 0.01-1 μm, a fiber length of 0.1-100 μm, and an aspect ratio of not smaller than 3 and an aqueous resin emulsion as the effective components, and the interior finish material is provided with a coated layer composed of the water-based coating material for an interior finish material.
