Abstract:
To provide a water-based ink for inkjet recording which can reduce blur of a recorded image caused by feathering on paper and is excellent in drying properties on the paper and in which a pigment is stably dispersed.
The water-based ink for inkjet recording comprises a self-dispersible pigment, a glycol ether, and water. The number of carbon atoms of the ethylene oxide-derived part of the glycol ether is at least 8, and the water solubility of the ether at 25°C is 1% or higher.
