Abstract:
To provide a water-based pigment ink composition capable of forming a recorded image having improved luster and distinctness.
The water-based pigment ink composition for ink-jet recording contains two or more kinds of polysiloxane-based surfactants having different HLB values. At least one of the surfactants is a hydrophilic polysiloxane-based surfactant having an HLB of ≥8 and at least one is an oleophilic polysiloxane-based surfactant having an HLB of ≤8. A recorded image having improved luster and distinctness can be formed by using the ink composition.
