Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide without using a high-boiling solvent a water-based resin composition stable enough not to cause skinning with time and other problems and having an excellent film-forming property enough to give a uniform film thickness without a crack, a material to be recorded exhibiting excellent printing performances when applied to printing methods such as ink jet printing, heat transfer printing, laser printing, offset printing and the like, and a printed matter having highly precise letters and/or images and excellent in durability, water resistance and laminating properties.
SOLUTION: The water-based resin composition comprises a water-soluble magnesium salt and a water-based polyurethane. The material to be recorded is obtained by forming on a base material a layer to be printed comprising the water-based resin composition.
