Abstract:

To provide a water-based resin composition a dried coated film of which is excellent in tightness and adhesiveness with metals, ceramics, olefins and the like; more concretely, the water-based resin composition excellent in tightness and adhesiveness with the olefin-based materials.

The method for producing the water-based resin composition is to mix 100 pts.mass of (A) a copolymer of an olefin with an α, β-ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid, 0.1-50 pts.mass of (B) a resin containing ≥3 mass% structural unit derived from the α, β-ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid and (C) a cross-linking agent, react to cross-link the mixture, subsequently disperse the reaction mixture in a water-based medium.
