To prevent microorganism from being sterilized with copper ions or silver ions and to allow the microorganism to sufficiently exhibit cleaning peformance by providing a chelating agent feed part in a water cleaning device provided with a filter device using the microorganisms.
The water cleaning device for cleaning bathtub water in circulation is connected a bathtub 1 with a water suction part 3 at one end of a circulation flow path 2 and a water discharge part 4 of the other end part of the circulation flow path 2, and a pump 5, the filter device 6 filled a filter medium for filtering with use of the microorganisms, and a heater for keeping the temperature of the bathtub water and heating it are provided in the circulation flow path 2. In his case, a bypass pipe 12 is connected at the down stream side of the filter device 6 and the chelating agent feed part 8 is provided in the mid-way of this bypass pipe 12 to enable to charge the chelating agent, e.g. EDTA. The chelating agent is adequately fed to change the copper ions or silver ions into a chelate compound, thus the microorganisms are not affected and the cleaning by the microorganisms is effectively performed.
