Abstract:

To provide a water cleaning facility whereby the pressure energy of raw water introduced into a membrane filter can be recovered as an electric power.

The water cleaning facility is one having a water conduit 11 being a flow path through which raw water taken from a water source such as a river and a membrane filter 16 that filters the raw water introduced through the conduit 11 by means of a precision filtration membrane or an ultrafiltration membrane, wherein a hydraulic electric power generator 12 is provided between the conduit 11 and the membrane filter 16, the waterwheel 13 of the generator 12 is operated by the pressure of the raw water introduced through the conduit 11, and the raw water discharged from the waterwheel 13 is passed to the filter 16.
