Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the impact noise generated when a valve is closed by providing cushioning means for absorbing or attenuating an acting force when the valve body of a drain valve is suddenly closed in a flapper type drain valve for supplying or stopping washing water from a tank to a water closet. SOLUTION: As cushioning means, a packing 11 provided with a rib 12 is built in an opening 6 so as to prevent disconnection from a valve body 4 for feces, a spring 13 for urine is attached to a urine valve body 3 and a spring 14 for feces is attached to the valve body 4 for feces respectively. As additional cushioning means, a water receiver 19 is provided in a direction extended from a valve body 4 for feces when seen from a support 20 for valve opening and closing. The water receiver 19 is surrounded by a wall surface 21 downward around a flat plate, a reinforcing rib 22 is formed in an extending direction at the upper surface side of the flat board, and absorbing force is specially created immediately before closing after raising the closing speed. Each of the cushioning means creates cushioning action immediately before closing the valve body and absorbs or attenuates the closing action force of each valve body thereby reducing the impact noise at the time of closing.
