To provide a consumption fuel reduction method that reduces consumption fuel at transportation by utilizing waste heat of a transport normally discarded to dry a water-containing object and reducing the weight of freight.

A water-containing dry system 1 utilizes waste heat of a transport 2 to dry a water-containing object 5, and includes: a water-containing object storage unit 4 in which the water-containing object is loaded; a heat exchange unit 16 that is provided in the lower part of the water-containing object storage unit; an introduction pipe 18 that introduces exhaust gas of the transport into the heat exchange unit; and a discharge pipe that discharges exhaust gas discharged from the heat exchange unit to the atmosphere. The water-containing object is heated by heat of exhaust gas via the heat exchange unit.
