To provide a treatment apparatus capable of evaporating and removing moisture from waste containing moisture such as plant waste and excrement of livestock, and effectively drying the waste.

This treatment apparatus is equipped with: a swingable or rotatable treatment tank for storing water-containing waste; agitating blades for agitating the water-containing waste inside the treatment tank; an injection device for injecting steam and treating water; a rotary shaft on which the agitating blades and the injection device are installed, having a double pipe structure on the inside composed of a feed pipe for steam and a feed pipe for the treating water; and an aeration device at the bottom of the treatment tank.
