PURPOSE: To improve the treatability by coagulation and flame retardancy of the subject liq. by using a specific polyoxyalkylene glycol diether compd. as the main component.
CONSTITUTION: The objective fluid comprises 1-25wt.% polyoxyalkylene glycol diether compd. of formula I (wherein R1 and R2 are each a 6-20C monovalent hydrocarbon group; and P1 and P2 are each a polyoxyalkylene comprising polyoxyethylene and polyoxypropylene in a wt. ratio of 10/90 to 80/20) having an average mol.wt. of 500-20,000, 0.1-25wt.% polyoxypropylene glycol monoether compd. of formula II (wherein R3 is 3-20C mono- or polyvalent hydrocarbon group; (a) is the average number of moles of propylene oxide added and is 4-25; and (x) is an integer corresponding to the valence of R3), 0.1-1wt.% polyoxyethylene glycol monoether compd. of formula III (wherein R4 is a 5-8C monovalent hydrocarbon group; and (b) is the average number of moles of ethylene oxide added and is 1-2), 0.5-15wt.% fatty acid salt of formula IV (wherein R5 is a 6-36C hydrocarbon group; and M is a salt-forming cation), and 34-97.4wt.% water.
