Abstract:

To provide a water content lowering device and method for lowering the water content of the high water content soil in a short time to shorten a construction period and to attain cost saving while having little influence on peripheral environment.

This water content lowering device comprises at least one of a vibrating device for applying vibration to an object which is the water content soil, and a pressurizing device for applying shearing force to the object; a suction device for sucking water content of the object vibrated by the vibration; and a discharge device for discharging the water content sucked by the suction device, to the outside of the object.
