Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the reliability against water leak by making cooling water flow through two copper pipes being wound in parallel whereby decreasing the pressure loss of the whole device.
CONSTITUTION: A coil of copper pipe is wound around an iron core. A forked nipple 5 made of insulating material is connected to the beginning and the end of the coil and a nipple 5' is connected at the center of the coil at the opposite side. Cooling water is poured in the nipple 5 and taken out through the nipple 5'. The parallel flow of the cooling water decreases the pressure loss.
