Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel water cut-off structure of a grommet capable of advantageously preventing in simple structure trouble that a gap is formed by mutually overlapping wires inserted into a small-diameter cylinder part of the grommet, without requiring any special jig or facility.SOLUTION: A water cut-off structure of a grommet 10 through which a wire harness 12 is inserted comprises a wire hold member 16 in which a plurality of wire accommodation grooves 18 extending in parallel while being separated from each other are provided in parallel. A plurality of wires 24 forming the wire harness 12 are accommodated and held, respectively, in the plurality of wire accommodation grooves 18 of the wire hold member 16. On the other hand, the wire hold member 16 is held between flexible sheets 26 from both front and rear sides and rolled in, thereby forming a wire bundle 28 and a small-diameter cylinder part 14 of the grommet 10 is crimped onto an outer peripheral surface 30 of the wire bundle 28.
