PURPOSE: title composition forming coating films with excellent hardness and anticorrosive property, that is prepared by incorporating a natural drying oil and cyclopentadiene resin to a liquid polybutadiene, adding carboxylic compounds thereto and nutralizing the product to form an aqueous solution or dispersion.
CONSTITUTION: To 100 parts by wt to a mixture consisting of (A) 10W85 wt% of a liquid polybutadiene of less than 5000, preferably 500W4000 molecular weight, (B) 10W80 wt% of a natural drying or semi-drying oil and (C) 5W45 wt% of a cyclopentadiene resin with a softening point of 50W170°, resulting from the thermal copolymerization of 55W85 wt% of cyclopentadiene monomer and 45W15 wt% of an acyclic 4W5C conjugated diolefin are added 2W5 parts of an ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic compound. Then the product is at least partially neutralized to form an aqueous solution or dispersion, which is used as the vehicle component to prepare title composition.
